Delete your Gurusharan account

You can delete your Gurusharan account and its data at any time — in the app, or here without the app.

In the app

  1. Open Gurusharan and go to the Account tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm by tapping Delete permanently.

Without the app

Enter the email address you sign in with. We’ll email you a 6-digit code — the same kind of code the app uses for email sign-in. Enter it below and confirm, and your account is deleted.

We’ll email a 6-digit code to this address if it belongs to a Gurusharan account.

Either way, your account is deleted straight away. This can’t be undone.

What’s deleted

  • Your account, profile (name, email, picture) and preferences
  • Your practice history
  • Your Ardaas requests and generated Ardaas
  • Your credit balance and history, and your Dasvandh record — unspent credits are lost
  • Your Sangat intentions (including removed and expired ones), joins, likes and reports
  • Your notification settings, push tokens and notification records

As separate steps, we also try to delete your Ardaas audio files and ask RevenueCat, our purchase processor, to delete your purchase profile. If either step fails, your account is still deleted; any audio files left behind stay in private storage, and RevenueCat keeps the profile under its own policies.

What’s kept

  • Records of past purchases, with your account details removed.
  • Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases, under their policies.
  • Reading calibration timings, if you ever turned that on — they’re tied to a random installation identifier, not to your account.
  • Copies of deleted information may remain in our hosting provider’s backups.

Before you delete

Gurusharan has no subscriptions, so there’s nothing to cancel. Practice progress saved on your device without an account stays on your device until you uninstall the app. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
