Community Guidelines
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Sangat is a gentle space to hold one another in Ardaas. These guidelines keep it that way.
Sharing an intention
Share something you’d like held in Ardaas — for health, family, guidance, gratitude, grief, or anything on your heart. Intentions are shown without your name. Please don’t include anyone’s full name, contact details or other private information, including your own.
- Intentions can be up to 280 characters.
- Everyone can share up to 3 intentions a day.
- Each intention is shown for 21 days, and you can remove your own at any time.
Not allowed
- Links.
- Profanity, insults, harassment or hateful content.
- Spam, advertising or promotion of any kind.
- Content that disrespects Gurbani, the Gurus, or anyone’s faith.
- Sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Other people’s private information.
What happens automatically
- Intentions that contain links or certain blocked words can’t be posted.
- Intentions written mostly in capital letters are saved but not shown to others.
- An intention is hidden from everyone once it has 3 reports.
- An intention reported as a possible danger or crisis is hidden from everyone immediately, after a single report.
- Sharing can be paused for everyone for a while; you can still read and hold others in prayer.
Automatic checks can’t catch everything, so reports from the sangat matter.
Reporting
Tap Report on any intention and choose a reason: spam or promotional, inappropriate content, this may indicate someone is in danger or crisis, or other.
If someone may be in danger
